Top notch place, not too loud *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AMy husband and I spent a week at the hotel. It was situated at the Herbertstraße, near the Hans albers square. Despite a demo and several football matches the a week we did catch a glimpse of the carnage rowdy in the hotel didn't even notice it. On every corner were Polizeitransporter with several police for peace and order made. The hotel is very centrally located near a tram stop. From there you are in a couple of minutes to the city center. To the harbor (fish market, Landungsbruecken, Speicherstadt and so on. ) is just a few minutes. The Reeperbahn leads to less than 5 minutes. There are not only EROTIC shops but also the panopticon, some musical theater and the powder keg. The St. Pauli musical 'hot corner' is highly recommended. Hamburg on our next trip we will stay at this hotel again.
