Great quiet in the forest, nice rooms, Frankfurt close *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI spent a few nights on business in Frankfurt/Main business and looking for a quiet hotel situated in surrounding area, if possible with possibilities to jog. By chance I found Google Maps just what I was looking for: a hotel from the outside, plain, with newly renovated rooms with nice wooden floors, complimentary high-speed internet in the room. And: The hotel is in the woods! You can walk or drive about 30 meters in the forest in, then there's the hotel. Directly at the hotel you can enjoy walks start or jog, there is even a Fitness trail, a few meters from the hotel starts. Was excellent for me after working days in hectic hotel. I arrived by public transport, but it is also a car park right next to the hotel. By public transport drive to Bad Homburg and take a taxi (about 10 Euro), there is also a bus stop about 300 meters from the hotel ( buses run several times every hour late at night, but not so good). Sometimes I chose another variation: On the other side of the forest there was also a tram station. And so I prior to my business meetings half an hour walk through the forest and came right at Metro stop out, it's straight away, you can only very hard to miss. Breakfast was good and plentiful, there were free of charge newspapers, TV in the room, the service was top, the low price considering the very good value. Ideal for private holiday and for business travelers who are looking for evening some peace from the hectic Frankfurt. But not for business travelers, which is so important, within a few minutes to be in the middle of Frankfurt ( but there were enough city hotels).
