A nice, small, quiet hotel with a lot of atmosphere *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe small but nice hotel with about 80 rooms was in a very good condition and had a cosy atmosphere. The rooms were cleaned every day, and the area itself was always clean and neat too, there was rarely anything lying on the floor, rarely any dirt. All guests had all inclusive, so we didn't have to wear wristbands. During our stay, most guests were German, some were Russian or Dutch. The age of the guests was between 25 and 75.
Location
The Moonlight beach which was about a 15 minutes' walk away was indeed crowded, and there were a lot of Russians, but that didn't bother us. It was clean, beach chairs were intact and cost 2.- per person including sunshade.
The centre of Kemer wasn't even a 5 minutes' walk away, but I didn't really like it there, as the prices weren't really up for negotiation and were rather high. Moreover, most bargainers spoke rather Russian than Turkish with the tourists.
I wouldn't book trips with the tour operators, as there were much cheaper offers in town. Since this was my fourth time in Turkey, I wasn't interested in any excursions and therefore didn't attend the tour operator's information event. Unfortunately, the tour operator reacted to my lack of interest towards trips and spa treatments by being unfriendly.
All staff was very friendly, nice and attentive. Most of them understood foreign languages. We didn't use the medical service or the child care and didn't have any complaints.
I highly recommend the hotel masseur. The massages were super great and had a good price-performance ratio.

There was one restaurant which was mainly used as a dining room for breakfast. When it was raining, coffee and cake as well as dinner were served there too. When the sun was shining, the cake buffet and dinner were served at the pool. The food was average, since almost everything, except the soup, was lukewarm. Unfortunately, we always had to guess what dishes there were or annoy the people waiting behind us by asking the staff.
Concerning the bar and AI drinks: Drinks were relatively cheap even after 11pm, so it didn't really pay off to have a drink outside the hotel.
Everybody had to decide on their own whether they wanted to give tips or not. I think everyone appreciated a tip when deserving it, so liked tipping those who deserved it. There were no advantages or disadvantages because of the tipping, though.
Sport & Entertainment
The hotel itself didn't offer much. The pool was clean, but the tiles could be renewed sometime. Internet access was available via WLAN in the reception area or via internet terminal for a fee.
Room
We were lucky and got quite a large room (204) with 3 beds. In addition, we had a huge bathtub which was great for showering. It was always clean but the carpet was already a bit older and should possibly be replaced during the next renovation, perhaps by tiles.
