Hotel Helios

The location was good for us. The bus connections to palma or arenal beach chairs directly behind the hotel. To the seafront one runs only a minute. So convenient is the location of the hotel, but definitely not. The hotel is surrounded by roads and other hotels.

At the front desk not all of the staff members spoke German, but it is always tried given. The service in the restaurant was a disaster. No one spoke English or German. The predominantly female forces watch angry, to pay tribute to the guests with no view, are not helpful, talk to each other sometimes very loud. The cleaning staff were quite friendly, but could only speak spanish.

The restaurant is really awful. We had no great expectations, but the restaurant was a disgrace. It was horribly cramped, crowded and noisy. A relaxed meal was not possible. The breakfast selection was okay and was quite tasty as well. The dinner is often tasteless and overcooked. Even the noodles were sometimes to get full food disgusting. The quality of the food is definitely not three stars worth. Generally the cutlery and crockery very, very dirty. Each plate has remained below below food leftovers, the glasses for breakfast are not to be used. All the glasses juice-Remains of the previous guests inside were sticky. We only use cups to drink. Lots of plates are broken, in other words a corner spalled. So even for the restaurant food is not suitable at least in the evenings. If you want clean, delicious and above all in a quiet atmosphere want to eat, should eat out.

The pool was quite clean and in terms of size sufficient, because most of the guests prefer the sea. In the evening there was entertainment for the 40 + generation.

The size was in order. The cleanliness of the restaurant was found better may be. The tv had a thick layer of dust and in the bathroom were stained. The furniture was very old, a door of the closet didn't work properly, the beds were only metal rack, the mattresses were very, very soft. As places to sit there was an old chair, and a stool.

Book this hotel, but, if you got a cheap deal and want to go to eat. Breakfast can be booked. Very sensitive to sound you shouldn't be, as the rooms very noisy.
