Hotel Helix

The hotel location is difficult to assess. On one side and you should not bad for example the Dupont Circle, with shops and restaurants after about 15 minutes walk. Nothing but really very close, but everything (the nearest underground stations) at least 15 minutes away. Now this is not a problem in the summer I imagine in the winter or when the weather isn't as enjoyable.

The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful. I have wonderful answered all of my questions and looked after me. Only the staff at breakfast was a bit odd, although not rude and not as friendly as the rest of the staff.

I only used the breakfast, which was a little interesting. It is a fairly small breakfast buffet offered you either for $12 fully or individual parts thereof literally a la carte. While booking it was called a continental breakfast each morning would be free of charge. Upon check-in was lost a word, the next day I received on request two vouchers. For these gift card should you from the buffet was a vial juice, a bowl of fruit, a muffin or croissant and coffee or tea. Better than nothing but I found it was hard to get used to. In the same room as well as there are customers dinner is offered, but I didn't use it

The room was for US standards extremely large and very well equipped. At the beginning the design was a bit hard to get used to, you will feel very quickly though very comfortable.

In the summer months since on the terrace in the evenings very loud music, you may want to get a room on the other side or at least on an upper floor.
