OK for short stay *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ACastle Hilo hawaiian is the in the years come. We had a superior room on the seventh floor (room 731) with a view on the banyan drive. The room had a clean carpet, old, wallpapers and worn-out furniture easily scuff, the but were basically OK. We had a king size bed and a small CRT televisions. It was no safe, no hair dryer and a clothes rail as an open closet with the sink.
Due to the airport is a certain noise inevitable.
Stingy with the coffee I found the matter. Only the first day free coffee it and/or tea. The other days can be bought at reception for two $coffee or the tea.
The towels are changed only each fourth day, what I thought was totally unacceptable.
The breakfast buffet is not to be recommended, because the air conditioning in the breakfast room was very low and thus were also the food cold. Coffee and selection were good. Better breakfast in it s pancake house Ken. Fun bar is the WAI Oli lounge. There it is 3:00 P.M. happy hour from 7:00 P.M. the beer for 2.50 $including tax.
The ladies behind the counter are really good mood. This can be said of the staff at the reception not.
