Beautiful Grand Hotel in Antwerp *

A typical Grand Hotel as one expected. Very beautiful lobby with tapestries and many possibilities to linger.
Location
Right at the Groensplaats, right in the center, many restaurants nearby.
From Brussels airport to the center of Antwerp with the trolley ( 10.00 €) in 40 minutes.
After by taxi (9.00 €) or reach by the no. 3 tram.
The reception was very friendly. At breakfast the service was very nice and prompt.
Room cleaning perfect.
Also at the information very good service.
Gastronomy
Very beautiful buffet (breakfast) in the restaurant (winter garden). Fresh juices, hot dishes and Belgian pastries.
Sport & Entertainment
There was only a gym and sauna available, although which didn't belong to the hotel and public.
Room
Very large double room (booked as single room) with very beautiful furniture, comfortable bed and a flat-screen TV. Unfortunately only 3 German channels (das Erste (1st), ZDF, WDR).
Desk, lounge area, minibar, safe and information folder.
The bathroom was very large with bathtub and separate shower.
The room was air conditioned. A small exit (French balcony) was available.
