Hotel Hilton Edinburgh Airport

Right at the airport - but 12 km - took about half an hour to the city center. There's everything your heart could desire shopping optimal. Excursion possibilities full here - on foot or by bus to Loch Ness (45 . - Pound) The hotel is great as a base.

Front desk - everything ok - you can answer any questions - but never Mentions someone German !! The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. Everything was very clean.

Bar/breakfast room / restaurant - right next to the entrance area. Restaurant wasn't used - breakfast international - everything was there - but the coffee and the bread (or rolls) I personally didn't like the food. The white bread to slice yourself was great - I couldn't eat ....... Everything was very clean and the best.

As soon as we get into - wow - Hilton. Very large standard room. Iron and ironing board - large flat-screen - hair dryer (can't be used in the bathroom - plug only fit in the room!!!! ) Kettle, tea, expresso - instant coffee - everything was there - free of charge. Only the bottle of water cost 3.95 pounds. No balcony and window't tip them anymore - but only ADDITONAL heating and air conditioning. Internet access - wireless internet (wired) telephone - service above TV - no mini bar and in the hallway was the vending machine always no beer.

Cell phones - everything ok - no problems - not with E-plus - D1 - or for Vodaphone line holders. Taxi or bus - no problem. Covered parking steps - entrance. 12 Km from the center of town. Gas stations - supermarkets close to everything. Great suitable as a base, BEWARE - left lane traffic - arriving by car (right hand driving) take riders - otherwise worked's any ticket machines ........ Great country - nice people - we had a lot of fun (Tattoo)
