Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWichita is not a tourist town, so it's mostly business travelers in the fully accessible free hotel. It is functional and right next to a shopping area (Bradely Fair) with upscale smaller shops as well as several (very) good restaurants. A car is essential, public transport I didn't see. A large parking lot for free is located around the hotel. The hotel and the shopping area on the rock Road, which is one of the main streets of Wichita and department stores and chain restaurants. Across the street is a large supermarket also Dillons with some of the features of the fridge. In the hotel next to the front desk is also a small salesroom with all necessary but with limited choices and a bit high prices. My room at the Hilton was a business rooms with very good equipment: desk meters. Free internet. Small kitchenette meters. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker including coffee/Teepulver. The bed was large and the bathroom was adequate with good facilities of toiletries. The lobby area was not very comfortable, but functional. A subset of forms the gastronomy in the lobby for 8.95 USD the varied breakfast buffet is served. At night, this area to the uncomfortable to light restaurant, which has used hardly anyone. For dinner you better the restaurants in the shopping area or in the McDonalds across the street. It was great that the whole day for free coffee and outside the breakfast period is complimentary cookies, apples could be taken. The hotel also has a small indoor pool & gym, which for every hotel guest discount elevator into your room behind glass. For a Businessaufenthalt the hotel was absolutely in order, holiday I wouldn't do it is far too very much a business decorated. For dinner, try the restaurant "Outback" in the shopping area (the Rockroad located) where I highly recommend excellent steaks at reasonable prices with a cozy atmosphere.
