Good city hotel for the holidays or weekends *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is actually for business pursuits Hilton strasbourg, but on weekends and holidays there can be real bargain. The location is something out of the center, but very well off the highway and easy to reach; the center to the main attractions are within walking distance about 30 minutes it, but it is the tram (about five minutes from the bus stop) and bus service. Europe-city is also the quick and easy to reach (also with the tram) and well worth a visit. To the situation: the hotel car park and garage are the fee, but across the street at the Congress Center it is free parking. The hotel is very friendly, the check-in runs very smooth and fast, only upon check-out you must be very careful here, that you not have the drinks from the minibar paid, not has used to cool the one (except the own drinks). The room are big enough and well furnished, but without balcony and with a beautiful old small CRT TV (but very many programs) equipped. In the beds one can sleep very well and had a good night's sleep then see the city. But not without breakfast to! The was so far the best breakfast buffet in what we would do in the many hotels: freshly squeezed juices, good coffee or tea, excellent sweet parts (croissants, cake, sweet rolls, etc.), to hot/cold meals.
The cleanliness in the breakfast room is something to very good, the tables were set again quickly. However, the cleanliness in the bathroom is not perfect, because the trash was emptied and not really clean it was also not. However, the was the only, what we to complain about and where I am also the most minus. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable and pleasant stay.
