A good starting point for activities *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Hilton Hawaiin Ice Teas to live Hawaiin Village is a "village" with several towers and a sizable integrated shopping mall. The size, the condition and cleanliness were acceptable. While the hotel in German catalogs with 5 * rating, the hotel is in America (only) Triple A, which I am sure is more appropriate. Breakfast can only directly through the Hilton website and then be ordered in the tower surroundings you had your room (in our case Rainbow Tower). The guests are mostly Asians (approx. 90 %), the rest of American and a few Europeans.
Location
We booked this hotel as a good base aware for tours, because of there wide beach section and a view of Waikiki and the Diamond Head crater chosen. All these criteria were fulfilled, especially since we our room as requested in a high floor (29th floor of 31 ) were given. Booked tours were mostly right from the hotel instead of which is ideal.
Now, over Easter it was very busy at the hotel. The staff made every effort, but with the invasion for T. Quite annoying Japanese visibly stressed. The room cleaning was adequate.
Gastronomy
Concerning breakfast, so you had to after 7am at least 15 minutes wait to be seated, because a line Japanese at the entrance. The breakfast itself was alright. Otherwise there were a lot of on the hotel area from the different restaurants, the really good food for a decent price. Everywhere was the good hygiene. But if you wanted to eat in the restaurant of the Alii Towers (sit outside with good live music), you had to half an hour (with beeper rentals) wait for this restaurant reservations, as received !
Sport & Entertainment
If you want to do something in the hotel itself, get Anybody. The program was especially for families with children. In the area of the hotel The beautiful and very well kept beach invites you to lay down a, you have to just be aware of that the fee for umbrella and two chairs currently 56 dollars.
Room
The rooms were ok, the view from the balcony of our room was pretty great.
