Hotel Hilton Hurghada Resort / Garden Villas

The beach was literally 200 meters from our room. It was clean and well maintained. The beach bars and restaurants were of a very high standard with very good service. The sea is beautiful and there is an aqua centre on the resort so there is plenty to keep you busy should you feel the need.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, from the room cleaning team to the waiting staff, pool staff and reception. Nothing was too much trouble, always greeted with a warm smile. The staff speak a surprising number of languages. Our room was cleaned every day and it was just lovely to return to clean towels and freshly made beds every day. Large bottles of spring water were placed in the room every day, too.

The standard of the food and the choice were immense. The children were never stuck for something to eat, and were even brave enough to try new things. The dining areas were spotless and the service was both friendly and professional.
We tipped our waiter on the first night and then gave a larger tip on our last night. This guaranteed us a reserved table and our drinks were always served as soon as we sat down. A special mention to Ahmed and Mohammed who were so good with the children.

The Animation team were amazing. Our children lived for the disco! Mido, George, Nadia and Sorchia are so good - they were always happy, fun and encouraging the children to take part in different activities.
The pool area was lovely, and our sun beds were reserved for us every day and the pool staff ensured the children had shade when ever the sun moved. The pool and the pool area were really clean, and the food at the pool bar was lovely. There was ice cream every afternoon, and the waiters brought round fresh fruit. Very refreshing on a hot afternoon.

The rooms are a good size with good sized bathrooms and balconies. Our accommodation was spotless, and cleaned every day. We were very happy to have air conditioning, which is standard at this hotel.

My biggest tip would be - tip! We tipped waiting staff, cleaning staff, animation and pool staff. Coins are not popular! We took American Dollars in small denominations and these were very well received and they were most deserved.
