Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe stayed at the October 2009 as part of our four days at the Hilton resort in Hurghada building. The name Hilton is normal for exclusivity and perfection. Unfortunately that is not Sunday shows clearly, that the hotel is older and with today's standards can no longer keep up. The restaurant terrace with the cheap plastic chairs and tables, as well as the free part of an placed on roof opportunities to approve the five-star status are already quite down. Although we only four days as part of a trip were, no significant change in the menu could be detected. The same pasta, rice dishes the same, at every meal grilled, as well as a fish court. Bad placement of the grills moved the grill smoke through the whole area. The beach chairs at the beach were part of occupancy of the hotel at 10:00 fully occupied and thus the number absolutely not enough. The umbrellas at the pool should be changed once. You could only with some difficulty and only by the staff of the hotel be opened. The cushions of the pool chairs were renewed without exception. But even now for the positives: the staff gives itself all trouble, the hotel was more than just satisfying. The cleanliness could not complain about it. At least, that what we could see of it. The reception staff spoke even in the German language! Conclusion: Hilton promises by the name more, it can keep but not in this hotel. A renovation should be considered as soon as possible.
