Finest Ski Holiday *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel had been expanded several times, but however gave a very good impression. The food was very varied and very good. Why only 5 stars? The shower in our room was too small and the bathroom was not anymore at the latest standards. It had been partially renovated, as we were shown on request. The sauna landscape included Massage, steam bath, excellent relax rooms, whirlpool (indoors and outdoors), swimming pool - great! But: A "kids hotel". One needed to know that and Fam. Hinteregger made no secret out of it.
Location
Directly to the lifts and in the middle of Katschberg. Altogether the infrastructure was only designed for skiing - but that was why we traveled there!
The service was great, the waiters were very professional and friendly. Room cleaning staff also. Spa area services were super and not too overpriced, like sometimes at other places.
Gastronomy
1 Restaurant, breakfast area, however very extensive. Large buffet, left no wishes to be desired. Good wine list and the food was varied. Always at least 3 menus plus children's menu and additional variations - buffet (salads, fish, seafood). Drinks were a little more expensive, but for 4 stars in the normal range.
Sport & Entertainment
Fitness, spa, indoor pool already described earlier.
Room
The rooms were not spacious, but still ok. Room furnishings fine. TV wasn't the latest, shower too old. Altogether, still as expected and ok.

Ski pass discount when purchased at the hotel (10 %).
