Great hotel with small weaknesses in the service *

Great Hotel, great rooms, great area, right in the middle of Eltville location. We celebrated with a large group. We're sorry, but it lacked in service: the afternoon coffee and breakfast was a hotchpotch of different dishes places, coffee pots were partly old and the chromium the plumber unclog unappealing repulsive. The breakfast buffet was very well arranged and one had to constantly ask, whether it still rolls or butter or... Is, it was not automatic on the improve. The four course menu in the evening was of excellent quality and very good taste. Unfortunately, it was after the first course up to the second hall a bit more than an hour, which actually is not acceptable. The wines were all very good and we bought at the check out two boxes. The room was for three people, but then only for two persons. The solution was the third person a single room. The staff was basically friendly, but then you but the feeling, that you annoying guests somewhat, if one expresses desires or draws attention to abuses. All in all, I would recommend the hotel, but there is room for improvement in the service.
