Hotel Holiday Inn Express San Diego Old Town

The hotel is situated in the middle of the old town San Diego. No matter what you want to visit (Sea World, Zoo or the harbor) it's not more than 15 minutes by car. The airport is also very close, but you get anything from the aircraft noise or similar.

The staff was extremely friendly and took care of any need immediately, Routenpläne printed and excursion tips and opening hours etc. Lined up. The rooms were cleaned every day and were always to our satisfaction.

Breakfast at the hotel, the by American standards was really good. About toast, yogurt, cereal, eggs, jam and there were scrambled eggs, bacon, Zimtkringel, juices and fresh fruit. The breakfast room is located in the lobby and relatively small and it was always full. So we just go outside the inner courtyard- it the weather has received and we found a much nicer.

The small pool we only used it once he was clean and well maintained. Directly at the pool there were two changing rooms, which we found very convenient.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and although we had a ground floor room, the half under the street (so not really in the basement) we did not find this unpleasant, anyway enough sunlight came in and also not a big car noise was available.
