The middle class hotel is ideally located to sightseeing in Manhattan to start. Only 5 minutes to the Columbus Circle and Central Park and within 15 minutes to Times Square. The price is $200€ per night is for New York standards in order. We're sorry, but it is a bit of a refurb in some corridors and in our room the wallpaper of the walls and a little mold has also had gathered. The hotel, but it was just as we used to stay, it wasn't that bad. The staff was always courteous and friendly.

The hotel is in a great location. In only 5 minutes to get to the Columbus Circle and Central Park where you'll find Time Warner Center and a large underground station. In the other direction it is only a 15 minute walk to Times Square. If you want to Broadway along to get you to get there on the costs approximately 5 Extraminuten. All around the hotel, there are some delis, supermarkets and restaurants and of course Starbucks. If you booked without breakfast, here you always found something delicious.

The staff was always very friendly. Check-in and check-out were fast and uncomplicated. The lobby has a concierge desk, where you tickets, a table in various restaurants or a cab/Limusienenservice can order. The staff are happy to assist guests .

Our room was at the back, so we didn't quite as a lot of street noise, which the old air conditioner but revised. It was on the first impression quite large and well equipped. On closer inspection the room in a rather shadow. Some wallpaper hanging from the walls and ceilings, and in the ceiling was in addition a small, black hole, in the it was damp and was moldy. The bathroom was large enough with shower-bathtub and hair dryers, but were already quite old. An ironing board and iron were also available. Every morning we had the current USA Today newspaper under our door.

Tips and recommendations

The hotel offers an Internet corner and free wi-fi in the room. In the lobby is a bar which was nice looks, but we did not use them.
