It was okay for one week *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIn the large and all it what the cleanliness and the size of the room. The hotel or rather the floors where we were is in a strong Überholungsbedarf. What also partly made (in our floor they began the time). Breakfast we didn't use it, there are enough out to eat.
Location
The location is absolutely amazing, you from the hotel to the right toward 8 Avenue, you have just a subway and from there you can get everywhere.
The friendliness of the staff, (I mean only the front desk) left a lot to be desired, which I've from America different know. No one can German, but also no problem with a smattering of English but still. You have to ask for a safe, but only the front desk. There are two keys one downstairs and the other you get. The room cleaning was good

Room
The size and cleanliness of the room was fine. In the bathroom was a bit of mold on the ceiling. Which was like a chain like a Holiday Inn shouldn't be. A coffee maker was there, and was also replenished every day. Went to call from our room. WIFI is available but all over the house and the free of charge.
Tips and recommendations
We had breakfast in the morning, the Moonrockcafe is close by. At night we were mostly DJ Reynolds, this is also about 200m away from the hotel. There you can also a beer (but beware the beer in New York is expensive). Or can buy somewhere somewhat and sit on a bank and watch. It was best to directly at the beginning we by Metrocard buy (approx. $27 ). For telephoning you buy a phone card at the best in a deli or in the supermarket, just the call to a number (is available on the map) and then the PIN NR. freirubbelln durchgeben and from the keyboard. So have fun in New York
