Hotel Holiday Inn Select Downtown

As already at the beginning of written, very good location with many attractions, within walking distance. Shopping possibilities in the direct area.

The staff was always very friendly. Since we only one night at the hotel, we can to maid service, etc. Can't comment on that.

Nice standard double room with Vollverglasung overlooking the street and it was very quiet, air conditioning has good job and was very quiet. Otherwise, the room was clean, bathroom ok, beds large and soft. There was nothing to complain about. Because of the heat would have been a fridge not bad.

The Anheuser-Busch Brewery should definitely be visited, also well worth the drive on the Gateway Arch, the gate of the West. From the dome has beautiful views of St. Louis and the Mississippi River. Worth the money, however to 1,5 hours wait! Busch Stadium is also interesting the St. Louis Cardinals stadium, however it was closed from the outside, it looks but gigantic. A Mississippi Raddampferfahrt is relaxing; but you don't see really much apart from a few old power stations and building by the ugly side of the back. But if you have been there, one had to join in the time; -) the weather: We were there at the end of August in St. Louis, it was sunny and 30 -35°C hot. The spring or fall would certainly the temperature wise considerably more pleasant.
