Superior room was family friendly
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis hotel was in many ways a surprise package as pictures on websites can be deceptive. We booked a superior room and got two roll out beds put in for our teenagers. Our beds were two double beds joined together and they had excellent mattresses. The room was facing the internal courtyard so quiet and well lit, it was nicely furnished and as big as the pictures on their website, quite large for a european hotel. The bathroom wasn't pokey and had nice toiletries. We appreciated the fridge and tea/coffee facility too. Staff at reception (except for a man at 5am) spoke excellent english. They were always polite, helpful and very accommodating, even allowed us to check in early without being asked!! As their restaurant was closed, they recommended a local Austrian restaurant which was excellent. The Naschmarkt food market was an easy walk and worth a visit. The subway was closeby and the inner city highlights easily reached on the reliable public transport. Although this hotel is outside the inner ring, it is worth considering as we managed to walk to many sights and possibly would have walked to many more if we had the time and warmer weather.
