Good hotel for bed & breakfast
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Hor Palace Hotel is been refubished slow but surely, the hotel is centrally located and would be ideal for bed & breakfast we could not complain with the quality of the food at breakfast, although the evening meal was a bit hit and miss & was not of good quality. The staff were very friendly and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. We purchased food for our wedding anniversery whilst staying in the hotel (as a treat) and found it a lot better quality than what was being served up on the buffet for the evening meal, so it showed that better food could be made in the kitchen. Maybe the food was geared up to the many Russians who were staying in the hotel, at one stage of our stay we were the only English people in the hotel which worked in our favour as the staff looked after us a lot better. All inall we enjoyed our stay but at this stage the hotel is no where near the classification it claims to be, I would class it as a 1*hotel, but go and make your own minds up.(B&B would be ideal with plenty of bars and restaurants near by
