Horrible Palace Hotel
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFood bad, food from evening carried over to next day lunch. Hot food barely warm. Lack of choice at lunch. Lack of friut and fresh vegatables. Only really hot and freshly cooked food was Omletes and Panckes for breakfast. No hot desserts in evening. Soup like dishwater but was hottish. Many people had tummy troubles. Buildings old and antiquated. In dire need of reburbishment. Doors so warped there was a constant draft and no form of heating. All Inclusive bar outside by pool in very cold and windy conditions. This was the only AI bar in the evening. Beach dirty and full of cigarette ends. Sunbeds were out of the ark. Beach/pool towels no better then rags and sunbed mattressess had little or no filling to cushion the hardness of the rickety sunbed. Restauant Manager always pestering guests to buy "Special Champagne" at exorbitant prices. Better to let this out to the Russians 80% and some very dubious characters. A Big dissapointment as have experience of other hotels in Egypt. Must be a total embaressment to the rest of the area.
