Good value - Great service! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel has 83 rooms on several floors. The breakfast we didn't use, as it is on the indoor pool, the my taste appropriately with too much chlorine treated and therefore a unpleasant, chemical smell wide made. In front of the hotel were enough parking spaces were provided for free, the hotel guests were mostly American nationality and were traveling as a family.
Location
The location of the Travel Inns is very good. In about a 2 minute walk to the Main Street, on the many bars, restaurants and shops. After approximately 10 minutes to get to the harbor, arrived from numerous possibilities to explore the surrounding area is by ship, as transport to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket or a classic harbor cruise. The beach was reached after a about 5 minute car drive, but there were also public transport connections, such as the Cape Cod trolley, not too far away from the hotel.
We were greeted very friendly and had at any time the feeling that we care. Also when we left one night earlier than reserved (which had nothing to do with this hotel) there were no problems and the amount of the night was paid in excess of the credit card without asking. The House Keeping was every day and thoroughly cleaned. Absolute plus: Even if you slept in a plastic bag, fresh towels are provided on the doorstep.

The Travel Inn has two clean pools with more than enough sun loungers, one in the building and an outdoor pool, the anytime well visited. For my taste was the indoor pool too much chlorine, which was the reception and in the Treppenbereich in an unpleasant dry cloud einhüllte. There were enough brochures for the surrounding leisure facilities offered in addition, the staff always make time to answer any questions. Shopping possibilities were within walking distance to after a short distance.
Room
Our room was very sparsely decorated, however very large and with its own balcony, but it was unfortunately only views of unattractive backyard promised. By American standards the room was with two double beds. To my impression were furniture and technical equipment (TV, telephone) very dated but very clean and always ready for use. The bathroom was always cleaned very well, toilet paper, Kleenex and towels were refilled every day. The standard air conditioning reliable cool enough.
Tips and recommendations
If you are on a budget the otherwise very expensive Cape Cod want the Travel Inn is a good choice. Naturally one couldn't the comfort of a 5 star hotel, but if you don't expect you will not find it accomdating small compromises, will make your stay in Hyannis very pleasant. In the main season early booking recommended, since the hotel seems to be full. Cell phone reception was with a commercial TriBand cell phone given at any time. The climate in August is comparable with the German summer.
