Great city hotel right in the center *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOn our way back from skiing in Vail were we had three days in Denver. The Hyatt Regency is right in the middle of the city, I was from the map, the distances misled seemed bigger than they were. In 1 minutes walk in the pedestrian area (about 3 km long), for a free bus the entire day into the night runs. There are plenty of shops and restaurants/bars. The Opera (second largest in USA) is only a few minutes walking distance. Now to the hotel itself: The staff was super nice, the rooms in the 22 floor with a view of the mountains was (except for the lack of fridge! Would have 20 USD/day! ) Well equipped (Kingbed) and very clean. We had booked a club room, which meant we had access to a lounge (35 . top floor, great view), for breakfasts and snacks. Was very pleasant, as it is very quiet and has insignificant cost more. As we were in 25 minutes away outlet shopping the hotel staff got us even our bags with a Handwaage weighed before heading for the airport. From the airport by car you can travel approximately 30 minutes. We would stay at this hotel again.
