Top hotel in great location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ABooked this hotel at the last minute (a night before) HRS at a great rate (only). The value for money was amazing. The hotel from the outside didn't look very appealing from, a gray block between the other high-rise buildings. But the interior is already promising. It's all relative new and very modern decor. Everything was clean and tidy. The hotel has nearly 650 rooms. The hotel seems to be a business hotel, as the guests were business services (Europeans, Americans, Asians) were. But we slept in the week. On the weekends locals outnumber certainly be at the hotel. Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy. Check-in is 4pm normalweise, but we could already move to our room at 10am, despite a large departure day. Check-in and check-out can also done via terminals in the lobby, d. H. no long waiting queues more! Parking at the hotel: Selfparking: CAD 28 , valet parking: CAD 38
Location
The location was great. Many attractions are in the immediate vicinity, for example. Canada Place, Vancouver Lookout at Harbor Center, Gastown, Vancouver Art Gallery, including the famous shopping street "Robsonstreet" you need within a few minutes walk. Seeing the sights (for B. Stanley Park, Granville Island etc. ) even here, I would definitely recommend a trolley-sightseeing tour (see below for tips). Perfect, right in front of the hotel there's a trolley stop.
We were very pleased with the service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Room
We had a very nice and especially very large room with city view and halbseitigem harbor view. The room was dark, but in a stylish kind and very modern decor. We had two large and especially very comfortable double beds, sitting area, work desk, flat screen, telephone, coffee maker, minibar, in-room safes, iron and ironing board. The bathroom was a little small, but big enough. A shower, hair dryer and some toiletries were to find in the bathroom.
Tips and recommendations
1 . Trolley-sightseeing tour (east-on, hop-off) costs CAD 30 per person, reduced: CAD 27 per day. You can also the tour spread on two days, only cost a bit more. We had the One-day tour was clearly too short. It can also have been because it was winter and the last trolley drove only until 5. 2 . If anyone other than the observation deck Vancouver Lookout wants to visit the "Cloud 9 could I" restaurant in the Empire Landmark hotel. The restaurant is located on the 42nd floor. Floor. From there you also have a great view of the city. We were there for breakfast for CAD 18 , which I could not recommend. Since the breakfast was not very, very easy and very little choice but perhaps for dinner? As I said, well, we had a great 360 -degree view of the city. 3 . As travel time I would recommend summer or recommend the autumn. We had been a bit unlucky in December, as at the time was a spell moved from the Yukon Vancouver. So it was clearly too cold.
