Hotel Iberostar Alcudia Park

Direct beach location: Out of the hotel - into the beach:)

Everything was very clean, even the sea. The only disadvantage; fine sand (as quartzsand), which was after swimming and volleyball everywhere:) But beautifully soft, very great.

Transfer time from Palma to the hotel ca. 15 hrs.

Shopping and strolls on the coastal street.
Mainly supermarkets and trinkets for the women.

During the bus traffic (nothing for claustrophobia, it was quite an experience) and car rental trips were no problem. Alcudia and Can Picafort were the nearest spots. (6 and 8km).

So very honest; During these weeks we never saw one staff person who was at anytime not friendly and helpful. We were very positively surprised, because we had experienced that otherwise.

What I noticed of the foreign languages was English, German, Spanish, Dutch.

The room cleaning was best. No complaints at all.

The doctors directly at the hotel, as well as a laundry service.
We didn't need either one of these.

The children care by the entertainers.

We had no complaints.

There was a restaurant, and the beach patio (lunch and snacks, evening entertainment) and a bar to the street.

I am not an uncomplicated eater, but I had found something for breakfast as well as for supper. (Between us, no evening under 4 full plates!! And I am really not such a huge eater.)
Every evening there was another theme about food. (Fish, pork, cakes, ice cream bombs, etc.)

All clean and hygienic.

The cuisine was Spanish and Mediterranean touch: lots of garlic and olive oil but good.
Even the desserts; something for the real sweet.:)

The entertainment was offered for those who wanted, but nobody had to.
Which meant, it wasn't pushy. There was once an announcement through the stage microphone and good.
I had also experienced that one was annoyed so long that one finally participated, which wasn't the case here.
The entertainers were all very nice.

The beach and pool were clean and neat.
One could walk around 100m in the water, and it was only 1,5m deep at first. And very warm.
Sunshades and pool chairs on the beach cost 8 Eur daily. (must have to be so)

The studios had kitchen/living room, bathroom, bedroom. For 2 people more than sufficient.
The flats had one bedroom more.
Balconies with chairs and table were sufficiently large, and one could have almost have had a party.

TV with German and Spanish programs.

We liked the furniture and furnishings a lot, all clean and nothing broken.

Cell phone reception was good. We will book AI the next time, since cocktails (6Eur) and beer (3 Eur) cost a lot, if one sat at the bar evenings. Tip: Compare the markets (Spar) directly at the hotel the water cost 1,5 water bottle 1 Eur, 100m more 60 cent. Weather we had 8 days, one cloudy (anyway 26°), the rest was great (30-38°). The travel time was beginning September. Price / performance ratio was very good.
