Dirty, sticky, 5 star prison
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Athe hotel is very big, but there is nothing special about it. it is just rooms, restaurant, bar and pool.
few shops inside, but they both tricked us with the money(5dinars each). buy ur souvenirs at the airport, which are cheaper.
Rooms were very basic, nothing special. bathroom could have been more functional and clean. room were cleaned everyday, even though sometimes at 14.00 the room hasnt been clean yet..
Awful and extremely unkind french guests. their children were like monsters, licking spoons from the pots from the restaurant buffet and running around free without supervision, making a mess and screaming bloody-murder.
Some italian were there too and many germans.
Location
This hotel was near some other hotels, it had a piece of sand 10 minutes away. it could have been anywhere in the world. you just see sand and water. not many day trips were available. we booked one, but we could not go because we had diarrhea from the night before. they changed the date, but then they could not take the money from my credit card and we had to stay in the hotel.
the staff was kind but sort of annoying, always trying to talk to you. they did not stop to "how are you", they wanted to know all your life. men were also very annoying with women.
cleaning ladies took their sweet time to clean the room, not even very successfully. something disgusting happens in the evening when the pool staff sweep the dirt and the water around the pool back inside the pool...so the next day you can swim in the dirt.
staff at the reception was very friendly, they speak italian, german and french. no english though. one day the energy went off and for more then 24 hours the internet did not work. we lost the internet time we bought, and did not get the money back.
Gastronomy
The food was good, but the plates, glasses and tables were almost always dirty or gave an impression of been cleaned superficially.
the drinks by the pool and at the beach bar are water, but not from a bottle!!, mint, cherry and orange juice, from the thick concentrate. they were very sweet. yur not allowed to ask for water in the bottle during the day. you are allowed to 1 bottle of water per room per night. 2 teen agers brothers asked for 2 bottles (cos they were with their family, in 1 room) and the man at the bar was very unkind and told them it was 1 bottle per room per night. he also wrote down the number of their room. also at the beach, u can go back and forth from the beach to the bar like a 1000 times, cos they'll never give u a bottle to take with u.
do plan to be completely dehydrated when u fly back home.
Sport & Entertainment
annoying animators, screaming the whole time. music at the pool was very loud.
Room
1 bed, 1 couch, 1 balcony. nothing special. safe costs 10€.
Tips and recommendations
i do not see any reason why one would want to go there. the most boring vacation i ever had.
