Good hotel, but... *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel Iberostar papagayo is located in a very quiet area on the beach promenade. Ideal location-only 15 minutes walk to the marina Rubicon (TIP) and about 40 minutes to the beautiful papagayo beaches. The staff is very friendly, efficient and alert. The pool area looked nice, but the water is very cold. Reserving lounge chairs is prohibited and therefore are at any time of day sufficient free beach chairs available. In the dining room are 2-many tables with spacious distance to steal. Both the quality and taste of the food was very good. There is also a Canarian specialties corner, which was very well attended. Super! Vegetarian meals (vegetarian lasagna, tortellini and so on) and fish meals are prepared every day. A compliment to the kitchen! With half board you can with dinner for 5, -EURO per person all-inclusive drinks (beer, various wines, water and soft drinks) yourself. A good idea. The staff were always make an effort the tables and clearing and resetting. There were always free tables without waiting... But the rooms are in need of renovation. The furniture had to be urgently renewed. In the bathroom was missing a make-up mirror as well as Gear. The Bathtub, toilet, mountings, Textiles shower curtain worked, but absolutely not modern anymore. In the room was missing a trash can, a working fridge, as well as a tv with good reception. The additional price for room with a view of the sea it is worthwhile really, you had a marvelous view to Fuerteventura or on a ship, which is anchored in the book. A devaluation of the hotel only because the room. In all other criteria we can only recommend the hotel papagayo.
