Great hotel - highly recommended *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AGreat place to stay, very clean. The complex is very well maintained. The age of the guests was mixed. Young people (22-25 years) to older guests (65 - 75 years) everything was represented. There were a lot of groups by Belgians there. It was often very loud in the hotel bar. But we didn't hear you in the rooms. Bottom line: always gladly again Iberostar Sunny Beach/Bulgaria
Location
The distance to the beach was very short. They went out from the hotel via a hardly traveled street and then over a footbridge to the beach. The footbridge had certainly seen better days. partly missing a plank or the Planks were partly not attached properly. This was the only drawback. The hotel was not far to the "passage". Here there were small shops, restaurants and bars.
We booked all inclusive and aren't often poor reviews in the media in relation all inclusive vacation, disappointed. Everything was clean and well maintained. No dirty tablecloths or used cutlery on the tables in the restaurant. The staff was somewhat officious. You hadn't put the knives, they also had already been cleared away. But then we friendly told us the "too fast" and from there they arrived, everything was PERFECT. The staff spoke English and sometimes also German. The rooms were always very clean. Fresh towels every day. The cleaning staff has the greatest figures out of towels. Just great. The staff generally was very friendly and accomodating. Staff: friendly and courteous.
Gastronomy
The choice at the meals (buffet form) was very, very plentiful. If you didn't get full here it was your own fault. There was something for everyone. Fish, meat (beef, pork, poultry), vegetables any kind, various salads - everything. The selection of drinks for all inclusive guests was also very versatile. Just a shame that some guests, who had booked only half board or full board, bumming our way. Here were all-inclusive guests with closed and the all inclusive guests for the other guests the drinks resception twice. panhandlers there were unfortunately everywhere.
Sport & Entertainment
Daily entertainment. The start began with a "club-song", after which then people danced. For the still present kids was the great fun. We didn't notice much of the entertainment, because we almost daily went to the beach. The beach was very neat and clean. The water in the pool was sadly very, very cold - so we preferred to swim. The beach chairs and umbrellas at the pool were free of charge. per beach chair at the beach, you had to pay 7 leva per umbrella. Sadly at the beach there were no showers (cabins available but there was no water for showering)
Room
The rooms are clean and a generous size. On the balcony there was a table and two chairs as well as a small clothes rack. Our room did have air condtioning, mini safe, fridge, TV (even with German channels). Bathroom with hair dryer. very clean and tidy.
Tips and recommendations
We were 22 09 - 7 10 , in 2009 there. The weather was great. Lots of sun, the sea water was very pleasant. The price/performance ratio was absolutely OK money exchange: not in the hotel-currency exchange. There are Crown Exchange bureaus. They had a better rate than in the hotel. Also take those no charges for the change of cash.
