Hotel Iberostar Sunny Beach Resort

To the beach it was only a few minutes walk over a footbridge. The transfer to/from the airport took depending on how many hotels were driven to between 20 and 40 minutes. In the direct vicinity of the hotel there were loads of shopping and restaurants/bars/clubs etc.

The staff was always friendly and kind. At the reception they spoke good German. Also some waiters spoke some international languages very well, otherwise you could get by with English. The rooms were cleaned every day, you should have something to complain about this if you directly at the reception - and it we immediately rectified. For us it was upon arrival so that the baby bed sheet and a missing a stain. less than half an hour and we had a crib and a fresh sheets. There is a mini club from 4 years of age. Our little is only 19 months, but still allowed to play in the sand there when we sat at the bar next door. There is also a disco. Every night we were there, they found but not spectacular. Have seen far more experienced it so. Still ok

So the food for us no complaints. There was always plenty of choice and I think so you can find something that works. Always meat (chicken, pork, beef) and fish, vegetables, potato wedges, pasta in 2 varieties, freshly grilled meat or fish, a large selection of salad, fruit, several sorts of ice cream, curd cheese, yogurt. Also was a huge selection at breakfast - cereal, pancakes, bread also to toast, eggs in several variations and you could omelets with the desired ingredients freshly prepared. Fruit, cakes and pastries, juices, milk, cocoa, etc.

We didn't use the pool and therefore little notice of the entertainment. Otherwise the entertainers tried, but we have also seen better. Evenings there was always a show, there were tried hard and it was entertaining. The beach was clean. Umbrellas and beach chairs were very expensive, but we found - so we were in the sand. (status 09/2009 - sunshade 3.50 € and lie down again 3.50 € - would for a couple on day quickly 10.50 € make, we found a lot of)

The size of the room was good. The only minus is that the rooms had carpeting, so you see just had stains on them, and the can be removed. Well, and then walk barefoot in the room less fun. The cleanliness of the room was ok, even under the beds was always cleaned, the beds were always something postponed, we have seen once including and found no dust - so it is rare.

We were traveling in the first half. Temperatures are nice warm. not to swelteringly hot and on the beach, you could also good without an umbrella. But I think we could never generally say as the weather at certain times. We had wonderful sunny days and got well relaxed at Sunny Beach. In front of the hotel there was the possibility to call to Germany - converted 0.30 € per minute, but its sekundengenau charged - so much cheaper than with the cell phone.
