The 2 . Great summer break time! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe "IberoStar Sunny Beach resort" is a relatively large hotel, but still IberoStar typical well run. The standard of the plant with a Spanish IberoStar hotel compare. The hotel was divided into 2 identical parts with 8 floors. Each component has approximately 300 rooms, and an in-house lobby with reception, the lobby bar and currency exchange, and an on-site restaurant and private lift. This year was the distinction between all-inclusive and half board this well chosen Accordingly been thoughtfully designed with the two identical parts. If we wanted to the guests good individual service after your booked Reiseleistung. We were in the left part of (from the main entrance). The lobby made a modern and well-kept impression. The house is also pleasantly air conditioned and altogether family friendly. The cleanliness was okay. The guest structure was very varied. (Couples of all ages, family with children, some young people, a few retirees). Nationalities: German, English speaking, Russian and Scandinavian. Despite the "colorful guests-mixture" everything was "civilized" from. This year was now for German "Normalbucher" to the big organizers optional all-inclusive - a good decision.
Location
This was our 3rd time in Bulgaria and to 2 . time at the hotel "Iberostar Sunny Beach". The location of the hotel in the 2 . array is ideal for the Sunny Beach - beach and not too loud at night. And only a few minutes walk from the center, where at night is really something going on. - Bars, discos, restaurants and countless shopping areas. 1 SIDEWAYS. array is the Neptun Beach hotel and to the right to the beach the Helios Palace. 3 SIDEWAYS. range the hotel "Bor" (see 2007 ). To the beach it was about 150m (over the street, about the "famous" footbridge and over a promenade). As the next locality is definitely Nessebar highly recommended! (Best with the Minibahnen distance). Transfer time to the airport Burgas - depending on the traffic - between 35 and 50 minutes.
The service of the hotel (friendliness, helpfulness) was good - nice staff - especially in the restaurant and bar outside. Despite all inclusive was at the staff in the restaurant and the bar no complaints. All the waiters (especially the head of the restaurant) was good. The same goes for the room cleaning. The front desk has gone down hill - language barrier substantive however this year (German/English). Check-in was pretty enough but the check-out was this time absolutely weak (if you know the guests at 1am to leave, you can not sleep and the bellhop - the only Bulgarian speaks - the front desk! ) Absolutely IberoStar unworthy! The hotel a child care was offered - after divided into different age groups. There are also massages and a doctor in the hotel.
Gastronomy
Great hotel for Bulgarian standards! Iberostar typical - diverse, delicious and varied. International cuisine in the form of a buffet - something to find. The most of freshly prepared. (But you should not with the abundance in some Turkish hotels compare). There is also a small children buffet for lunch and dinner. offered is served in the afternoon cakes in the lobby and the poolside bar is a great between meals next to all kinds of drinks and snacks such as burgers, fries, etc. Will receive. All inclusive is highly recommended, especially if you are in the hotel in the evening shows/ entertainment at the outdoor bar during the day or want to go on pool.
Sport & Entertainment
The pools are within the two Hotelteile but side by side. There are based on the number of a lot of beach chairs and umbrellas close together. We preferred to stay at the beach, where all kinds of water sports offered (jet skiing, parasailing, banana etc. ). For cool day, Nothing in the hotel there was a small pool (luckily we did not). We cannot say much about the entertainment during the day, and since we were mostly on the beach. Supervised child care/kids club was also offered. For the smaller evening is also kids' disco. Evening shows by the entertainers. At the 1 day of entertainers per week were professional events: 1 . Week: magic show, 2 . Week: Bulgarian folklore. Great is the all-evening animation, the is popular much appreciated.
Room
We had a very nice large room (junior suite) which was split into 2 rooms. that means by their parents separate sleeping place fopr 1 - 2 children. Great was again the sea view on the front of the hotel - upon request in one of the upper floors. The sight mornings and evenings on the black sea was again fantastic! When it comes to the rooms to the courtyard is the view of course quite limited. Our room was very spacious and functional. Everything was clean and well maintained. Amenities standard with 4 star standard - air conditioning, balcony, minibar, TV/international channels, safe, telephone. Bathroom with bath tub, hair-dryer, mirror, etc. The mini bar was by the cleaning staff with all inclusive bottled water replenished daily with plenty.
Tips and recommendations
The general price-performance ratio can (for Bulgarian standards) nor describe as very good. Due to the good central location of the hotel is the center easy to reach on foot. Various bars, restaurants and disco it and shopping in the night, it's like being in the Turkey (only almost without barter) - shop here. Excursions are also various possible and at the tour operator bookable. (For example Ropotamo river national park, Sozopol) definitely on "your own" with the mini-trains to Nessebar - it's really highly recommended - charming contrasts in this small town. (P. Photos 2007/2008) tip: in Nessebar fully cross the old town to the other bank with quaint restaurants and great views over the sea. Otherwise also time the Sunny Beach with the Minibahnen up and down - in between time off and sight-seeing make - may be 1 tour on the promenade walk back to the hotel - it's so fun at night. Best travel time for a beach holiday: July-August. Money exchange in the hotel was in this year only to Bad winds could wash algae ashore course possible - better CROWN exchange bureaus use! (Beware of the courses other smaller hairdressers). Mobile phone reception was very good (O2 roaming).
