Central location, good value *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe stayed at the Ibis Christchurch 2 nights in conjunction with a round-NZ trip. The location is great. You can't be more city center, everything is short walk from the hotel. Our DRB was a good size, the bathroom was spacious and clean. Our room could only from 2 pm so that our luggage at the front desk and first. The staff was friendly and courteous. The only negative for this hotel is the breakfast. We have stayed at other Ibis hotels and there was a much better quality. The scrambled eggs tasted awful, probably powdered .... Altogether we could recommend the hotel but, because everything else was OK.
