Simple but good. Top location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA modern middle class hotel in top location, with no frills, but everything you need for a short stay. It is an IBIS. It is the location, in an upgraded old building.
Location
In the heart of the old city, a few steps away from the Royal Mile. Doesn't get much better. To Waverley Station, which is also where the airport bus stops, it was about 5 minutes on foot. All attractions are also within walking distance, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, pubs and shops.
Very friendly and especially helpful staff at the front desk. I could on our arrival day was already at 12 :00pm move to our room.
Gastronomy
I only used the breakfast. There is a continental breakfast buffet. Maybe a bit spartan but for 5.50 GBP were okay.

Room
The rooms are not large, but very clean and modern functional. Equipped with flat-screen TV, telephone, kettle. The bathroom was also very clean and big enough.
