Good hotel, but far away from the centre *

The hotel is relatively far away from Lausanne, therefore you really do need a car. Other than that, it is a usual Ibis to Swiss prices.
Small tip: the Internet in the lobby is free of charge and enough until at least the second floor... just after the code at the lobby questions
