Basic hotel in a favorable location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe ibis in the schönbrunner street is, as all ibis hotels-a simple, but very well-run 3-star hotel.
The location is perfect, because you have to take the public transportation, or 15 minutes by car to the centre ( Stephan's square/ Karlsplatz) can be reached. There are also sufficient parking spaces and there is also a-pay-underground parking.
Friendly reception night doorman, but with our vouchers nothing start knew. But has at the Check-out clarified.
Because of its location and very good price/performance ratio in the hotel are very many russians, Bulgaria and other eastern Europeans to find, which did not disturb us however, because they have behaved well.
The dining area shortly after the lobby is almost restaurant, was cold and uncomfortable. The selection of food was commonplace-food without zest and originality. Fast cuisine.
Our room was facing the inner courtyard supplies, very quiet, but also with insight from the yard.
the room itself was very clean, but also very spartan equipped: A primitive seeming Bed frame, a opened small closet design, built-in seat and desk furniture. An outdated tv. No safe, no mini bar. But Air Conditioning!
The bathroom was tiny-the room built - wet cell with wash basins, a relatively large shower and a toilet. No ventilation! Here unfortunately ibis standard: only a medium sized towel per person, a note, you should save for environmental reasons but laundry. Shower gel in dispensers on the wall.
The bed was still comfortable, unfortunately no as pillows in the room available. We got to the second night from the housekeeping yours.
The corridors of the hotel are very basic with a cheap carpet equipped. Annoying: In the hallway a as bed and a baby bed stood around openly. Stuffy air, since obviously no idea, fresh air.
The hotel is a pure nonsmokerHotel, which we very much welcome!
Conclusion: we can recommend the hotel to guests, the neat and want to stay central without large requirements.
