Relaxing holiday in a great hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAfter being so many times in Thailand for our vacation we have had, time is our choice, due to time of year, on the beautiful island of Samui and the Imperial boathouse liked. The hotel is located directly on a fine sandy beach of the small and quiet town of choeng Mon, but nevertheless, many restaurants, supermarkets, laundries, shops, etc. offers. If you are looking for more hustle and bustle is within a few minutes by hotel shuttle (available during the day, in the evening against fee), taxi or Songtaew in Chaweang. We had rented a scooter, with which one can explore the island very well.
The hotel itself is a bit getting old, but still a 4 star standard. The rooms are large and in the Thai style, the cleanliness and the service are nothing to complain about. The resort itself is located in a very well-kept garden. At the pool and on the beach there were enough pool chairs and umbrellas available, but your best time behind itself and urgently be changed. The breakfast is also a 4 * standard and offers beside the European/American standards (bread, rolls, sausage, cheese, cereals, vegetables, bacon & eggs etc.), different warm Thai food and fruit. This could have been a bit bigger but in my opinion. The service at breakfast was very good, the tables were quickly cleared and coffee/tea very attentive refilled. The other gastronomy in the hotel we only used once (for Khantoke dinner). The food was good, if a little too much on Europeans laid out, and for a hotel of this standard price is acceptable. However, the local restaurants much more authentic and cheaper. Very worth mentioning is the hotel's SpA. I enjoyed several excellent treatments. All in all, we have a very pleasant, quiet and comfortable stay at the Imperial boat house spent.
