It doesn't always a palace (Imperial) be *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIn the context of the local 10-15 4/ five star hotels in Amman it is with about 100.00 euros per night the cheapest-but in a three star hotel not so much the mandala hotel appearance the Imperial and it is as good (knowledge of 2 buildings down town also sufficiently/ price in the case 30,00 euros) the hotel lies at the fourth Ring, directly opposite the royal hotel in Delhi. We met mostly French, new Zealanders, Indian, to about 40% of Arabs. To get to the hotel, we had a sicherheitsschleuse as the airport happen-and very security-related, but you have to share the luggage, which will take you into the X-ray machine sets itself from the back band take; with 2 bags and a photo backpack is not easy enough the lock,... So it happened, that my bag on the floor, because the band walked on. The hotel promised, spare parts and destroyed after Germany to chic - wait 4 weeks now... The reception Counter was very small, the complete staff, with exception the cleaning of the rooms, spoke good to very good English. The public areas appeared to be well maintained and well maintained. Our room was in the East, with a view over the city-the window latch was broken, so that the window not being able to open, practically furnished, with a large double bed, almost disintegrated and angle 2 and 4 screw content enclosed together chair (Photo!) as well as a dirty armchair (Photo), TV, good working AC (we required the heat, worked great and warmed up quickly), wardrobe only with iron, no grounds for the placing of shirts, blouses, T-shirts... In many parts were missing or broken furniture, doors burst very a lot from... The minibar was daily controlled and refilled. Then the shock and nightmare for each guest, in the bathtub and washbasin hair from the previous tenant... The cleaning of the rooms worked in the following days we were there without any complaint. The toilet bowl was about 8 centimeter next to the wall, toilet paper you had to get in front of the use of toilet scrolling, because only an acrobat to the holder. The breakfast was international with a few Arab elements (Labneh, Homus...) the Danish were daily fresh from the previous night, the coffee lighter than and therefore inedible tea, to the question, if the coffee should be, answered the breakfast waiters: 'yes' (later it turned out, the filter for the 35-liter/coffee maker from the previous day inadvertently once again had used...) the atrium with all floors 6 and ended with a glass roof-if rained, the atrium was laid out with cloth, because the roof was leaky. On 6 floors the walking around Balustrades were artificial Flowers located, the so dusty that you should be ashamed of this house, as well as to international guests totally dirty it was on everything reaching 8-storey brown crowns from brass chandeliers. The hotel recruited with the best relaxationcenter in the city... Ha ha ha, in the jacuzzi Lawrenc of Arabia, with its sand washed so sandy was about 4 times the 4.50 large pool (4 water spray), in so-called fitness room there were tables 2, 8 armchair and a broken treadmill-the hotel should be ashamed of themselves, this matter at all to keep open.
the outdoor pool was closed, it was too cold. Opportunities for excursions there are a lot of Mount nebo/madaba/dead sea / (ma 'in Ma' in vent, is too expensive and offers simply nothing!)/ / Bethany for the Amman Citadel with Omayaden -Palace old town make sure you take...
we recommend all tourists in Amman necessarily as Arak gift or souvenirs with take. Taxi ride to the hotel from almost every part of the city to reason the central location between 1 and 2 euros all great vacation in Amman, but not in the Iperial palace Walli and Peter
