Great hotel in Key West *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel we can to 100 % recommend. Both the rooms and the handling of complaints was exemplary - for the price! We used this hotel on our Florida ROUNDTRIP for 3 days in Key West. The hotel offers free parking for guests, I would only kurtz mention because it wont at all hotels. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The hotel itself consists of 2 floors and therefore not too big. Best of all, it has a beautiful outdoor freshwater swimming pool - the largest in Key West. We booked only the nights without breakfast. We ate next door at Denny's =)
Location
The hotel was located directly on the waterfront, but not on a beach that you could swim. The famous Duval Street or the "Southernmost point of the United States of America', you should take a taxi. On-site parking is more than poor.
The service was as mentioned above exemplary. Even though we didn't really want to use the pool (we wanted to be on the beach), didn't work and we complained that he due to maintenance have been available. Without too much fuss gave me and my wife at this hotel for one night as a gift (about €60 ) and I found that considerable! Foreign language skills of the staff are English and Spanish. The room cleaning was really good - there were no complaints.
Gastronomy Unused
We didn't use. There was a pool bar that one evening we had a beer but that's it. The pool bar is large and there were many TFT-TVs. It was football =)
Sport & Entertainment
The pool is the largest of the Key's and the area The pool area very nice. Next to the main pool there was a hot-tub and didn't like was that are of a Dusk til Dawn" - or provided the pool bar open until very early in the morning and it was actually in the case. recreation offers it in the Keys enough. The hotel offers the possibility to book excursions (at the front desk is a an agency to the desk) but I could I could imagine, that there was also a few dollars more cost.
Room
The rooms were large and very clean. We had a king size bed + a cozy couch, a huge TFT hung on the wall and the bathroom was huge and refined style. Air conditioning, telephone, minibar, safe ... Of course everything was available. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The Inn at Key West If you do ... Sorry, has a at the "slapper".
Tips and recommendations
We went on an excursion to the reef on the keys with a catamaran trip. I could really recommend to anyone. Lovely lots of fish and clear blue water, although the reef (the 3. largest in the world) is not necessarily to be one of the most beautiful ones. In every hotel and almost in every shop there were enough many flyers with discount coupons provided, you should use, to have the one or other USD to save. The hotel has an ideal value for money and I would definitely book it again if we return to the keys and they are we will definitely come again sometime.
