Lovely quiet place
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Anice sized rooms, terrific porch area just beside the small river where we watched the locals fishing morning and evening with nets, Jo the manager spoke good english, and the breakfast was filling even though there were not alot of choices, Jo was very helpful and a couple of times gave us lifts to the main street as the lane going to it was very windie and narrow with no footpaths. we did not eat at the resort nor did we use the pool, we ate in either Jomtien at the Purple Space Monkey which had good food and entertainment or ate at various places in Pattaya. Jo had a stray dog called Dee-Larn (blackie) and if I could have I would have brought her home to Aus with me she is georgeous, very friendly and lays her head upon your lap, and gives you her paw, please do not kick her as she has a lovely nature ans responds well to kindness and left over bacon. the resort is quite well kept, a little bit out of the way and taxi drivers don't know where it is, so make sure you get a business card from reception to show them the address.
Location
not too much in restaurants in the area, but the Purple Space Monkey was very good, cheap food good entertainment every night, but the walk back to the hotel was quite dangerous as no footpaths and a narrow twisting road also a few dogs which attacked cars and motor bikes.
staff very friendly, although very little English spoken except by Jo the manager.
Gastronomy Unused
very small restaurant, and as I didn't see anyone eat there at all in the week we stayed there I decided to eat elsewhere.
Sport & Entertainment Unused
The pool was a resonable size and when we were there it was quite windy so had a few leaves in it which no one cleaned up, I'm not much into swimming anyway so it did'nt bother me.
Room
no kettles in the room or tea/coffee facilities, but Jo the manager brought me hers from home which was very nice of her.
Tips and recommendations
Tea and coffee should be provided as well as a kettle cups ect. but were not. Best time to visit is in Dec/Jan temp 26 degrees and humidity not too high.
