Beautiful hotel-excellent food and mountain views
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVery comfortable hotel in St Christina, the nicest town in Val Gardena. Mrs D. runs the kitchen and the food, both regional specialties and mainstream Italian standards, is always excellent. The hotel and grounds are very well kept up and clean. The views from the rooms and hotel areas of the surrounding mountains are spectacular.
Location
Its a short walk to the mountain lifts to go hiking or you can take the bus to other areas in Val Garden to hike.
The hotel is a short walk to town where there are restaurants and grocery stores for hiking snacks.
Professional multi-lingual staff. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome
Gastronomy
I love Italian and German food and the Interski cooks both very well. 2 of my favorites are the veal with tuna sauce and the wiener schnitzal--better than any other restaurants I have dined in. Also, the Interski has an excellent wine list selected by Lukas D..,
Sport & Entertainment
Excellent hiking. Trails are well marked and Albert D. is always available to recommend a fun hike. Indoor pool/outdoor hottub. Great solarium with mountain views!!!
