Good Hotel, beach dirty, Isla Margarita nice *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHotel is in general a little run down (pool bar is empty & check access from the beach, only separated from the street). The beach in Playa El tirano the hotel and is recommended not really, of seaweed in the sea (sometimes; for about nine out of 14 days); the beach was cleaned every morning by the washed ashore seaweed, but was never clean. Are also beautiful beaches on Isla. Playa Manzanillo we was mainly visited by (very nice, quiet). And Playa El Agua (clean and especially busy). Conclusion beach and Sea: beautiful, but not comparable to the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
Hotel: hotel rooms in good condition and always clean. The hotel staff was very friendly. At the front desk sometimes even German speaking staff. Conclusion food: there was always something for everyone. Above all else, fish very well. Meat was mostly too tough. Pasta station was very good. Conclusion excursions: we booked any excursions with our travel guide (Neckermann). Trip price overpriced. However, it is on the Isla Margarita many German emigrants, the self-made there as a tour guide/tour guide. We took a snorkel beach tour to Isla coche (which we booked at the beach with one Berlin-emigrants, very recommendable, huge trap type). Then we have two island tours (1 x jeep Peninsula Macanau, even with Chevrolet for island) and a tour of the mainland after Caripe (to the caves). This we did with Frank, a Cologne emigrants).
