Simply arrogant - never again!

- Bedroom
- Breakfast buffet
Now, why we would never go there again and do not recommend JWM to anyone:
- If you want to experience the traditional Thai hospitality, avoid the place (or go across the street to the Anantara )
- Staff is arrogant, not helpful and stingy; it’s all about money… what else in a 5* hotel
- Reception staff is incompetent and gives conflicting statements
- Internet is outrageously expensive (THB640 for 24 hours, THB3’200 for 7 days; discontinuation not possible)
- Infrastructure for a pram (and definitely for a wheelchair) a catastrophe (only a few elevators, but stairs everywhere)
- No baby phone devices, but very costly baby sitters
- Typical US style hotel chain… ergo, too many US guests
- Very remote and no access to the local people (instead of enjoying typical Thai cuisine for a max. THB1’500 (2 adults and 2 kids) in one of these lovely beach restaurants, one is bound to book a table through a central restaurant reservation desk at least 24 hours in advance to “experience” high priced Western kitchen lacking almost everything which is uniquely Thai)
Our advise, go one * lower and further south the island… you will have a heck of a Thai experience!
