I visited on a business trip this hotel for the second time. It looks at the front desk was a bit chaotic. By the age of the hotel everything seemed a little antique and renovierungsbedrüftig. In my room there was a small mould on the windows. It is probably due to the fact, that my room was on the windward side. One heard however the problem and said, that they would take care and it was not just shrugged it off.
The food was very good. The staff was always friendly. The location is wonderfully quiet and you can surely beautiful walks and just relax. The room was spacious enough and had a very large bathroom, this was perfectly clean.
The swimming pool and sauna can I no statement meeting, because I have not used. At the hotel itself there was no possibility to walk a few minutes to reach. locally or in rudesheim. A game reserve is directly connected. It was lovely to watch the deer in the morning.
My conclusion: if you like a little old fashioned, lonely and good food is the place to be.
