Perfect price/quality in a familiar athmosphere
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel looks typically Swiss-Moutains- like at the outside and has some interesting 70's style elements at the inside. Hotel is very clean and spacious. We were 4 friends and went for the half board. Breakfast is great, diner is good.
Location
It is approx. 5-7 minutes walking and is situated slightly uphill. Wonderful view when waking up. There is no noice from the main street or railway station. If necessary the hotel can pick up your lugage at the station with an electrical mini-lorry.
This hotel looks and feels like a real family hotel. Everybody is always friendly and ready to help or advice you. To give you an idea of the familiar athmosphere, some children were having breakfast in pyjama's, as they do at home.
Gastronomy
Breakfast is perfect and dinner is Swiss-type good food. Don't expect nouvelle cuisine, but you have a decent starter, main course and desert. Service is efficient and friendly.

Room
Rooms are very clean and functional. Our bathroom was limited in size and had no bath, only a shower. For us this was perfect. If you prefer a bath, ask for it when booking. We had rooms with South view and a balcony: great in the morning.
Tips and recommendations
The bakery in front of the main "intersport" shop has fresh berliner boules around 14h-15h in the afternoon. You should try them. By the way, the Intersport is very well organised. For 3 SF a night you can leave all you material there, and your ski-booth are dryed and heated by the time you get in in the morning.
