Hotel Kamelya World Fulya

The location was good and it was only a few metres to the beach. There were plenty of sunbeds with mats there. Shopping could be reached on foot in five minutes at a bazar where you got everything. You could also go to Side by bus or taxi. The bus cost about 3 Euros for two people, the taxi 15 Euros. To the airport it was about 45 minutes.

The staff were friendly and their language skills quite good. Noticeable for us was that a lot of young staff with hardly any language skills were responsible for clearing everything up. Room service was a bit poor. The bathroom and especially the balcony were neglected a bit.

The food could have been a bit more varied. Taste-wise it was.. well I´ve had better. The quantity was alright and if you didn´t get full it was your own fault. Chips and noudles with sauce were available every day which some people were glad about. The first drink always came very quickly but you had to wait a bit longer for a second one or get some juice yourself.
There was more than enough space in the dining hall and you didn´t have to wait for a table at any time of day.
A bit more cleaning in the dining hall wouldn´t have been bad as for breakfast you sometimes still found chips on the floor from the last evening. At the bars they served cocktails from five litre canisters. Otherwise the drinks were good though.
We would like to highlight the Chinese restaurant. We could only recommend it as the service and the food were very good. It was located away from everything a bit but was built nicely towards the beach.

The entertainement was good and not at all pushy. The evening programme was very good. We were there in the week that Mama Mia, We will rock you, Spartakus, etc. were performed and what the girls and boys showed on the stage was nearly perfect. Plenty of pools available. Even if you came a bit later you always got a place there. Sadly at the pool the ashtrays didn´t get cleaned and neither were the tables at the pool. Otherwise it was very clean. At the beach you had to clear the sunbeds of sand first and sometimes a bit of dirt was still there from the previous day. You could live with it but I have seen better.

The size of the room was alright for two people. We were on the fourth floor over the entrance where the busses arrived. It was quiet there and we even had a sideways view of the sea. The furniture was alright and there was a flatscreen TV. What wasn´t so nice was the carpet. Hygiene was sort of alright. The balcony was very big and equipped with a table and two chairs.
The bathroom was small but ok, except the cleanness. The minibar was re-filled every day.
The air con turned off automatically if you openend the balcony door which I found was a good thing as it wouldn´t do any good with an open door. A few people didn´t like this but they didn´t understand the point of an air con anway.

The price/performance ratio was alright. Mobile reception was there. In August it was still very warm and in the evening you could wear short clothes. The main restaurant was climatised so that you could quickly freeze. Very recommendable was the Spa-area. We won´t be going back to the Kamelya World but with a few drawbacks it was very recommendable.
