Hotel Kangaroo

Location is good, the distance to the beach about 10 minutes walk and the old town is about 20 minutes. By taxi minutes away you can reach the old town for about a Euro even faster.

Service was great, especially the staff was very helpful and gave us good advice on what to do, get, such as a rental car for cheap. We only spoke English. When I checked out, the airport pick-up, which worked out perfectly. (Podgorica is about 1.15 h away,) cleaning service was good, clean towels every day.

We had only breakfast, which is average. There were local meats, cheese, fried eggs, sausages, salad, orange juice and fruit. Everything was rather local produced but it was ok. At night the restaurant was always very busy, also from locals, so it seems to have been fine. The rates were very attractive, but we had no time to try it.

Rooms were good for the category with en-suite bathroom, shower, WC, hair dryer, TV (only local channels and Eurosport), mini bar (cheap), balcony, air conditioned. As the hotel is quite close to the main road was (second flats), it was very quiet. But we have no problems sleeping with an open window. Positive was the free (!) WLAN at the hotel and in the room.

If you are not on the tourist beaches right in Budva, you will be able to the beach Mogren (approx. 25 Minutes) walk, or get a cab to Jaz/Trestno beach (about 7 Euro ride),. There is fine sandy beach and crystal clear water. Price for two pool chairs and one umbrella about 9 euros.
