Hotel Karyatit
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHave to give one "sun" as no suns doesn't count. The only thing this hotel has going for it are the waiting staff who do their best.

In the Kaleici so good location for the town centre
The waiting staff did their best to make things enjoyable.
Gastronomy
The breakfast was only just acceptable. No fresh juice - it was extra and cost 4 TL per glass. No fresh fruit. Just the cheapest of everything.

Room
I had a double room on my own. Thank goodness. It was like being in a prison cell. Bed uncomfortable, pillows hard as bricks. It was tiny. I deposited the suitcase on the other bed. TV reception very poor and only Turkish programmes. My room was on the ground floor bordering the pool and bar. So, no sleep until the bar closed - okay, I was on holiday and it didn't bother me. However, on day three, the smell of cats as I opened the room door, almost knocked me out. I changed hotel at my own expense for the duration - 10 days
Tips and recommendations
Avoid this place like the plague. Not recommended, not even to budget people.
