Hotel Kemer Reach

Nowhere near the beach, but when we found it we avoided it like the plague, small, dirty and overcrowded. Two small shops within hotel, otherwise good 20 minute walk to resort centre. Daytime activities limited to one game of water volley ball per day, evening entertainment rubbish, practically non existent.

Some of the staff here were very good, and others were atrocious, ignorant and sullen. Probably because they were so used to being treated like dirt by the majority of the foreign guests. Some people have no manners, will not take their place in the queue, push you out of the way, and never say please or thankyou, its no wonder the staff are so miserable.

Although there was a good deal of choice, particularly if you ate early on, if you chose to eat later not only was the food barely warm but the choice became limited. Everyday there were only slight changes to the menu, the majority of dishes were the same all the time.

All covered previously, the pool area was not kept very clean, there were days you daren't put anything down on any of the beach tables, all sticky from the previous day.

Nice airy rooms, could be very noisy at times, and we didn't get a hot, or even very warm shower all week !

I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone English to book this hotel, leave it to the Germans, go somewhere else where you can have a bit of a laugh and a joke with the staff. You are outnumbered 100 to 1 by the foreign guests, and we didn't get a smile out of anyone all week.
