If Khao lak, then bayfront- gladly again anytime *

New this year is the new building of the front desk, which I would have considered it is not necessary, but a hotel is also present. Apart from that, everything was as usual. This year there were many Scandinavians in the hotel, the rest (50%)of the German-speaking countries with relatively few children. We had booked Baechfront and received room 1007 with direct view of the sea -see photos. King-size bed and the extra bed for everyone. The bathroom was large and with whirlpool but only once used. Internet in the hotel was very expensive and therefore not used. The next town was Nang Tong and with the taxi(2 euros) reached and therefore one has everything, what you need in five minutes. Our visit to the much-praised golden elephant was not especially good-about an hour wait in a semi-full restaurant are unacceptable. Fortunately, Nang Tong well stocked with restaurants for all the pockets, so each time we have eaten somewhere else good. An excursion tip I should like to make yet. After the disaster last year we decided this time for history tour. Our trip-booked with Peter quiet/ Snorkelsafaris -went to the Khao Sok national park. With 8,600 asked not the, what you call a bargain, but professional in the course of implementation. Twelve hours with twelve people speaking management plus (Thoy from Thailand-very funny) plus the driver. Two hour drive to the reservoir with a photo top. Long tail boat ride then, jungle hiking, rafting, Höhlenbesichtigung, lunch on a people swimming in the water Lodge (very delicious and plentiful), swimming in the lake and all this with only twelve people-succeeded! The staff has been very well kept, but otherwise there were in our time one or the other heavy rainstorm. Is however not so bad, afterwards it was again sunny and hot oppressive. There were problems in this year again, with Shelly fish-a Feuerqualle, the bathing amusements in the sea over-but usually only in bad weather. We looked at many hotels in Khao Lak and think, that the most beautiful bayfront beach section houses. Right next to the beach in front of the hotel-about 200 meters toward the Nang Tong is the bamboo bar and massage places-every day a goal. Massages from 300 bat-sometimes only was possible with a reservation.
