Hotel King Minos Palace

We would recommend excursions only on your own and not by a tour operator - it was not worth it. Whoever nevertheless rather traveled with a guide CAUTION!!! read the small print in the excursion information flyers, there were hidden costs!!

The service was just super. The staff was very efficient and also knew our names.

2 times in the month in the hotel a Greek evening with original Greek dances. All staff participated and motivated the guests. Super beautiful, one should participate. The actual buffet was best, much selection and delicious. The drink prices were ok. Only drawback, the drink service often took a very long time.

Activities and entertainers David and Astrid were simply super. Calmly and extensively the program for the day was introduced and they personally inquired whether anyone wanted to participate. Then one immediately had his peace again :) Very pleasant.

Super furnished and very clean. The terrace was very large and invited to linger.

We were there in June and it was still not main season. Beaches and bays were not overcrowded. However it was already very hot. The tourist miles were always full. Unfortunately there was also very much traffic. Our tip to walk (about 20 minutes) or explore the old cities by scooter. These were still typically Greek with taverns and small lanes really beautiful.
